Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable RevOps professional with a strong background in accounts receivable, and billing processes, and required advanced expertise in Zoho Books/Billing. The ideal candidate will work with our team to streamline and enhance our invoicing, billing, and payment processes for metered subscription models. This role also includes consulting on best practices for automated billing, helping us move toward a seamless, efficient invoicing system that aligns with our unique billing requirements.
Responsibilities
- Billing Process Optimization: Analyze, clean up, and reorganize our current Zoho Billing process to align with our specific billing structure.
- Subscription Management: Support the setup and management of metered subscription models to improve billing accuracy and efficiency.
- Automation Development: Design and implement an automated monthly billing workflow that integrates with Zoho and Stripe for ACH-only payment processing.
- Invoicing System Setup: Establish a robust invoicing system within Zoho, ensuring it captures all necessary details for metered billing and meets our unique customer invoicing needs.
- Best Practice Consultation: Provide insights and guidance on best practices in billing and accounts receivable to maintain accurate, efficient, and compliant processes.
Required Skills and Experience
- Accounting & Bookkeeping Proficiency: Solid foundation in accounting principles, specifically related to accounts receivable.
- Zoho Books/Billing Expertise: Extensive experience with Zoho’s billing, invoicing, and payment processing systems, especially with handling metered subscription models.
- Accounts Receivable Management: Proven experience in managing accounts receivable, with a clear understanding of revenue operations and billing cycles.
- Stripe and ACH Payments: Knowledge of integrating Zoho with Stripe for ACH-only payment processing (no credit card transactions involved).
- Attention to Detail & Process Improvement: Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail, with a track record of identifying areas for improvement in billing operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a SaaS environment or with subscription billing models.
- Familiarity with revenue operations and billing automation best practices.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
