Amazon One

Amazon One is an innovative payment method developed by Amazon that enables customers to make purchases using their palm print as identification. To use this service, customers must initially register their palm print along with a linked payment card and phone number. Once set up, this biometric system allows for quick and secure payment transactions without the need for entering payment details at each checkout. Currently, Amazon One is available exclusively at select Amazon-owned stores, such as Amazon Go and Amazon Books. There are plans to expand this technology to third-party merchants, potentially broadening its application and making it a more ubiquitous payment option in the future. This method exemplifies a move towards more seamless and frictionless payment technologies in the retail environment.
