Adware
Adware is a type of malicious software designed to force computers to automatically display or download advertising content. Once installed, often without the user's explicit consent, adware can disrupt user experience by displaying intrusive advertisements that can affect the performance and usability of the computer. Additionally, adware may compromise user privacy by tracking browsing habits and collecting personal information. It's typically bundled with free software downloads or hidden in malicious email attachments, making it crucial for users to remain vigilant about the sources from which they download software and the permissions they grant.
